Love Donna Flora Event

Love Donna Flora is a charity event to benefit Squinternet Larnia, owner and designer of Donna Flora.

In December 2011, Squinternet learned she had breast cancer and that it had already metastasized to her bones. Her prognosis was bleak and she was not expected to see the summer. Well, this is the second summer since her diagnosis. She pursued alternative therapies that have helped and given her a hopeful and joyful extra year. However, the cancer has regrouped and her strength is flagging. At the moment, she needs home nursing care and she is hoping to travel to a cancer treatment centre in northern Italy for another attempt to prove the doctors wrong.

This event is to help raise funds to pay the alternative therapies Squinternet needs to keep fighting cancer. Designers have created exclusive items to this charity event which runs from July 25th through August 11th. All items at the event will donate 50%, 75% or 100% profit to Squinternet. All vendors are marked with their donation percentage.

The struggle against cancer requires money but it also requires hope and love. Therefore, we all can help with hope and love by lifting Squinternet Larnia spirits and remind her how much she is loved and admired by sending her a message and sharing your hope and concern. Due to her health condition in RL, Squinternet Larnia moved Donna Flora from the lovely and romantic store in Bonin to a new and more contemporary style shop in Florencio. The old store will remain in Bonin for one last week and most of the older clothing that is there will be retired. On July 25th – August 24th the Love Donna Flora event will take place to help raise funds to pay for the alternative therapies and home nursing that she needs to keep fighting cancer.
